Good to see Calvin understands the main purpose of participatory democracy.

In my opinion the legal age to vote should be 25. (begin with the hammering…two…three…)

Voting doesn’t get you a bigger piece of anything. For that you have to bribe politicians… I mean “hire a lobbyist”.

Voting is a right you have to take seriously. You don’t have the wisdom or maturity to execute that right Calvin.

When you’re young, you want to vote to make a difference.

When you get older, you realize your vote doesn’t mean much.

When you mature, you know that you’re screwed either way.

Thinking back on recent political campaigns, maybe only six year-olds should be allowed to vote.

Calvin already has a piece of the pie just from birth. Unfortunately too many others thinks they’re so privileged as adults.

My older daughter always felt the injustice of kids not having a voice in certain things (she was student body president in middle school). She had been looking forward to being old enough to vote. She turned 18 in 2020…2 days BEFORE Election Day!
