Accent on “sometimes.” Sometimes you get forced to do it over, correctly. With a blistered tush. Which, that no longer is a deterrent for some of us. lol

So he’s saying Slow Joe won’t run in the next presidential election. The Count didn’t realize Captain Obvious’s first name was Calvin.

Calvin sure did a lot of shoveling to get out of shoveling.

or sometimes you get to do nothing useful or necessary for a career, raise a completely dysfunctional family, reinvent your resume in every speech you ever make, and eventually wander around a white house completely mindless, and have almost a whole world wonder whose your keeper and actually running the show. I guess if it happened to at least one person, and they got extremely rich doing it, it can happen to you Calvin. "here’s your sign’ – Go For IT!!! js

This USUALLY works – unless you’re in politics…

Yeah, had I done something like that my dad would have used my butt for bongos…

My father would have kicked me so hard in the butt, my nose would have bled.

But sometimes you’re told to do it until you get it right.

I’m always amazed at the number of people who do that and still move up the ladder of success.

My experience was to do it again, and again, and again.

….and sometimes you get a butt whooping!

I’ve done this at work. They put me in a dept. I didn’t want to be in, so I purposely screwed up the work.

My Dad would just make you do it over again. Duh!

It still won’t convince your dad to buy a snowblower.

Today snowballs, tomorrow snow goons, bwahaha!

If you always do your best, then your best becomes the usual, and people want more.

Calvin is too smart for his own good.

Calvin has discovered the principle of ‘reverse psychology’.

Heh, yeah, but it’s too bad Calvin didn’t consider doing the job badly that way would take much longer than shoveling the walk the right way.

Dad asked for it. I think it is mean to ask a six year old to showel the pathways for saving few dollars, though it builds character. But then you need to differentiate between a commoner and Calvin.

Did he read Luann Again today? Or did Brad read this?

And sometime they just increase the supervision.

If only Dad offered a cash incentive..

The logic seems sound, but sometimes you do get asked to wash, rinse, and repeat. Ask anyone that works in Washington, D.C.

The general ploy of most guys. :D
