Unlike Calvin and Hobbes, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a piece of toast with both hands before. Maybe there’s extra jam or butter on their pieces making them extra slippery today!

Reminds me of midnight movie viewings of Rocky Horror Picture Show back in the 70’s where, on screen Frank N. Furter declared, “A toast!” and the audience would all throw the toast we’d snuck in at the screen.

Reminds me, more than a decade ago at work, the local Toastmasters held a presentation inviting memberships. Q&A at the end. I thought it would be too flippant and unnecessarily disrespectful to ask “White, whole wheat or rye?”

Later on, his wife Suzi finds an old beat up tiger hiding in the closet. She smiles.

Shades of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I can remember dressing up in costume and going to the midnight show. Part of the show was to throw toast at the appropriate time.
