I don’t know how much Rosalyn is getting paid to sit for Calvin but it ain’t enough.

They were literally shouting that.

She wants the money up front to pay here connection for the meds to get her through the night.

Plus she’s demanding at least a 25% bonus for “hazard pay”.

Calvin is the reason that Rosalyn never had to take out a student loan.

I wonder why she wants to be paid in advance. It’s not like Calvin’s folks are going to stiff her. Perhaps she’s going to re-negotiate her fee.

I watched a cute movie, “Babysitters Beware”. It’s not a great movie, but it’s a lot of fun. It’s about a boy who is generally a “good boy” but wants to get on the “bad” list for babysitters so that his parents will spend more time with him. Danny Trejo plays one of the babysitters.

What exactly is the reason why Roz won’t let Calvin have any fun?

Rosalyn may skip college for a lucrative career as writer of numerous “Adventures in Babysitting” books and movies. The film industry never met an idea they won’t let go away.

Rosalyn is a veteran of Calvin watching.

As we all notice, when dealing with our ‘little hero’ , nothing fazes Rosalyn, she just wants to be paid IN ADVANCE ! ! !

How can Rosalyn be called a “sitter” when Calvin keeps her running around?!?

At this point, she should ask for a 401k plan

I think it started out to be about the money. But now….it’s personal!

Ros has always been the smart one. She lives on the edge with Calvin, but she’s smart.

This past summer, I actually got voice actress Grey DeLisle-Griffin to come up with a voice for Rosalyn in a little comic dub I produced of the 1986 Sunday strip Rosalyn officially debuted in! Since I can’t post links here, look up “Calvin and Hobbes Dub with Grey DeLisle as Rosalyn!” on YouTube.

I did babysitting a couple of times, not counting looking after my three, younger brothers. I could divert them with humor. But other people’s kids? Never again.

Just in case they decide to not come home.

How many pairs of shoes does Calvin’s mom have? Unless she’s Imelda Marcos I’m sure she knows how many are in the shoe rack. My sister’s shoe rack is the whole wall on the right of her work room. Yup, she’s Imelda Marcos’ doppelganger.

Wherever Roz ended up in life, I’m pretty sure she does not have any problems making the hard decisions.

LOL! Hide under the bed or in the closet- – the night monsters will protect you. I am sure they are scared of Rosalyn also!
