In the 1950s, when it seemed like everybody was a smoker, I went as a pack of cigarettes. I hated them then, and now that they’re starting to be rare again, I REALLY hate that old stale smoke smell.

Any parent who lets his/her kid go door-to-door these days in search of some damned candy should be flogged in a purely humanitarian attempt to wake them the fudge up!

Darrin, as a ‘Star Trek’ fan, you should appreciate that President Trump has pushed to get us back to the moon by 2024, instead of ‘some day’.

You should appreciate his efforts to start us down the road of off-planet mining and manufacturing, which could eliminate all of the pollutants people complain about here. He has prioritized exploring and colonizing and boldly going where no man has gone before. Instead of sitting on this rock trying to keep everything static while waiting for the next big rock to wipe us out, you should support his approach to the immediate exploration and utilization of space resources.

Regardless of why polar ice is melting, it can be seen as an opportunity rather than as terrifying change.

President Trump boldly suggested acquiring Greenland because, as the ice melts, it will again become a desirable place to live, and it has important minerals as well. Why was he ridiculed for this?Antarctica is an entire continent, which research shows was once warmer. As its ice melts, it becomes yet another place for people to live and work and play.

Global warming is an opportunity to colonize habitats lost to previous ice ages.

The USA was founded by people who embraced new frontiers and the opportunities they represent. Why not praise the people who prioritize that heritage?

Susan is not looking her best today. Just saying…I guess it’s breathing through that mask all the time. Isn’t it time for those two to lose the masks etc.

Just idly curious here. Anyone want to take a guess what the first date will be in the future when the name “Donald Trump” does NOT occur to them? I’m hoping maybe by 2030, but I’m not optimistic about it.

It may not be every single day … for those of us who don’t seek it out….

But where would Lemont find a costume, Susan?
