This reminds me of something i saw in the 70s. There was a gas station in a not very nice neighborhood with a large German Sheppard for security. The dog was chained to a doghouse just outside the bay doors. His only toy was a galvanized bucket, with many tooth holes in it. The dog would toss it into the air with a shake of its head, catch it and chew some more. From what I heard, the station was neve robbed.
My mom got some sort of face cleaner once (astringent). The bottle said “Unbreakable”. I gave it a slight toss in the air and let it hit the floor. (“Checking for truth in advertising,” he said.) It wasn’t.

My late Hannah knew where the treat bag was. She would get it and try to chew it open. She never succeeded.
