Almost every one of Bennett’s cartoons is a profound example of simplicity and breathtaking insight. Bennett’s work is a wonderful example of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s maxim “Less is More.” Regrettably, those Bennett justifiably skewers are not intelligent enough, educated enough, or experienced enough to get that they’re being skewered, his work is doubly effective. If everyone merely aspired to that level of achievement, not to mention mastering it, our world would be a far, far better world.

When I first heard of QAnon, I honestly thought it was some radical Gay group called Queers Anonymous. I am gay and still can not understand how they can belong to and vote for Republicans.

After reading Qanon conspiracy theories, and the justifications and analysis that they use to back their theories, I can only figure that the Qs love exaggeration and don’t allow facts or common sense to ruin a story that they like…

All those who committed insurrection in the name of trump. Did any of them not pay attention to his lack of loyalty towards, his vice president, his administration and those who had been loyal to him in the past. He screwed them all. Wasn’t the first time or the hundredth time. Suckers.

The most painful, albeit important lesson about the rise of QAnon is that it showed that an awful lot of Americans believe what they want to believe! Now that they’ve lost their biggest cheerleader, they seem to be going through a rough patch. But they won’t completely disappear. But this also shows why we need to start teaching school kids American civics (so they’ll know how government works) and critical thinking (so they’ll be less prone to conspiracy thinking. I wonder if there are deprogrammers who would be willing to work with the QAnons.
