I understand the Sentiment but for those of us who take antidepressants, the war in the Ukraine is just a blip of our radar, of our struggles.

I’ve been having a lot of dreams about the war these days.

I feel depressed about Ukraine, but I remind myself that I’m not near as depressed as Ukrainians — mothers fleeing with their children, people forcefully kidnapped to Russia, soldiers uncovering mass graves, people who have lost everything, people being tortured, people who were minding their own business until they were suddenly invaded.

Russian propaganda says Ukrainians are killing and murdering themselves. Classic strategy is to never admit a mistake, and always blame all problems on somebody else (including the victims).

Clay, you identified the response and feelings of most of us after a few weeks of interview stories, videos and on site reporting. Don’t want to ignore it but for our own mental health we may have to do so periodically.

For our sanity we may have to make like an ostrich, at least until the conflict spreads into a NATO country. Then we might not have a choice.

If we (the govt) can’t provide “advisors” on the ground then get them an expedited supply line of weapons. Also, work harder to get the truth to the Russian people.

Make the American people feel like something is being done. Or perhaps just write about it like was done for the slaughter in Aleppo by the Russkis (who love the Fat Orange Clown and his MAGAts).

I can feel the fear here fear of what’s coming this November. Some on this thread have said recently that not only will Democrats hold the House & Senate, but Joe will get a 2nd term. Others say Republicans may gain control but only due to voter suppression. While R vs L has nothing to do with this toon its sill oozes out of many comments, my take is Biden would have lost fair and square if not for suppression of Bidens unholy relationship with PRC, Russian & Ukrainian energy which if reported would have doomed him. Now that Trump has been banished the Media is coming clean regarding the Biden Crime Family. I hope the fine people who supported this real soft coup of 2020 enjoy life in a post DNC America because it will be a brave new world of personal responsibility and America first thinking.

Since the CIA was funding and arming the NAZI’S who were shelling Russians in Donbass, I really don’t care. A nice ride on my motorcycle always takes care of depression.
