I like what Yahoo News said, in part:

The house of misrepresentatives. I would like to see those that voted for a certain person and now are realizing that there is a different person that has stolen their votes, those robbed voters start a class action and nail santos for fraud. What is fraud? Well he sold a bunch of people something and replaced it with something totally different (something that was, most likely pulled out of a toilet somewhere) .

Yeah, this is the bunch entrusted with governing the nation.

Can you believe that Mccarthy guy? He basically said, “I lied about most if not all of my campaign. Vote for me anyway!”

The schadenfreude is strong, and I’m enjoying it.

If they had checked Hunter’s laptop they would find the votes to get him the Speaker’s job.

I’d be more worried over the Dems all voting for one person. No dissent. No individual viewpoints. Not unlike voting patterns one see in Russia, NOKO, China, and 1940s Germany.

The arrogance of moving into the Speakers offices before there was even a vote should be enough to keep him from the job.

You know your party has gone off the deep end when Freaking Kevin McCarthy can’t get elected speaker because he is too liberal.

Today, the networks will, ONCE AGAIN, interrupt programs with BREAKING NEWS to inform us of the results of the 4 th vote of the incompetent GOP circus fiasco‼️

Between McCarthy and Jordon, I don’t which should claims the trophy for the biggest loser‼️

You just KNOW that if this continues the Dems will cave and throw enough votes to McCarthy “for the good of the country”. They’ll claim it was better the devil you know than some extremist (like McCarthy isn’t one). If the Dems stay as a block and bargain with a few of the “moderates” they might even be able to get Jeffries in. They won’t even try, of course, but even trying knowing they can’t make it happen would send a strong message of unity to Dem supporters instead of the demoralizing one that flipping to help McCarthy win will.

And he so much wanted that gavel.. all that sucking up to trump evidently was in vain. But, curious folk want to know, was it good Kevin.

Isn’t this the third time McFarty couldn’t get enough votes? Perhaps they should move on.

I think it is great. They can’t vote on anything or spend money while this is going on. Hope it drags on for a while.
