Let’s not get our hopes up on this one. He’s not going to jail for it. The subsequent charges could put him behind bars though.

A clear majority do not support him. But a VERY SOLID plurality worship his footprints.

Unsurprisingly T***p lied about the day that he was going to be arrested.

If/when it happens, there will be a party at my house.

I’m not shocked that he told another lie. His vile mendacity and greed are predictable. We all know that he did it to rile up his cult to encourage them to send him more donations. I too am waiting in joyful anticipation that justice will prevail and his aiders and abetters will not succeed.

I, for one, won’t party over it. While I would be gratified that justice prevailed, I would be simultaneously saddened that a so many of my countrymen allowed themselves to be gulled by greed, racism, mysogyny, and outright lies and continue to support the one who said the Constitution of the United States should be “scrapped.”

From the very first, I was convinced that Trump’s story of his imminent arrest, especially with the naming of a specific date, was nothing but a tall tale intended to rile up his “base”. If he wasn’t arrested, then he could crow, “See? They were afraid of me/us!” And if he actually were arrested, then he expected violence in his favor to frighten his “enemies”.

Well, it’s now the next day, and I have so far been unable to find any news report of the size — or even existence — of gatherings of would-be “protesters”, and it seems that no arrest attempt took place. (Will Trump nevertheless claim that such “crowds” were “the biggest ever”?)

Meanwhile, Trump is reported as claiming that his “information” came from “illegal sources”. Was that intended as a brag… maybe to encourage his followers that “illegal” is “good”?

Nobody said Tuesday except for the perp himself and he is a liar. Why anyone got excited about Tuesday confounds me.

Not till there is a conviction and he is escorted into a prison, then let’s party!

And.. around the corner folk lined up to buy ammunition. All wasted money folk.. trump will not do a perk walk, and will manage to delay his trial till well after his passing.

On the classified document thing—Trump apparently lied to his own attorneys(or what passes for them),thus sacrificing attorney/client privilege.

An existential question: Handcuffs, or no handcuffs? On the one hand, its been my dream to see him in handcuffs, but on the other hand, he will grandstand it.

Any rioters won’t be going up against 1,200 Capital police officers. They’ll face 36,000 NYC cops.

Just like when he lost the election, he made sure we got to celebrate it again and again and again, etc… now it’s the same with anticipating his arrest!

With the Grand Jury not meeting today and delaying a possible indictment. And with Trump blowing off about wanting to be arrested and cuffed, i wonder if Bragg is having second thoughts about this? Van Jones said on CNN last night. He thinks Bragg won’t indict Trump because of the protests and more importantly empower Trump. With a delay in this, it doesn’t look good. Either way, it’s hell if you do, and hell if you don’t for Bragg.

Putting former presidents under arrest… Is that really a precedent we want to set?
