This is a new social media platform founded on the principle of the free speech, independent thought and rejecting political censorship and “cancel culture.” Uh huh….

Perhaps this toon is a reference to the phone booth scene in Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”.

Her suspension appeared to result from the same post that got her a final, fifth strike from Twitter which led to her account’s deactivation: A post claiming that vaccine injury and death reports gathered by a reporting service operated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) proved that the government was ignoring large numbers of deaths resulting from the Covid-19 vaccine.

Gettr had a big day Sunday. Marjorie Taylor Greene posted on the Jason Miller-led social media platform after her permanent ban from Twitter and podcaster Joe Rogan directed his Twitter followers to the site, too.

Republicans run from one platform to another until they get banned for lying.

MTG’s pals in Russian media (Sputnik, Russia Today) are just outraged that private social media companies in America would dare to disallow anti-American terrorism on their platforms. Same could be said for her MAGA “base”. Bigotry, hatred, and anger should be just fine with them.

If only her fantasy in the cartoon were real….
