Just like “elephants never forget” is true, the revers is also true.

“Never forget elephants!” (And their dastardly deeds!)

Maybe so. Voters are notoriously unable to remember things for longer than a couple of weeks.

On Aug 10th, President Joe Biden while patting himself on the back claimed that the US experienced “zero percent inflation in the month of July”. So evidently we didn’t need this massive tax-and-spend bill. Just sayin.

Mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, and ketchup (for that trademark pink color) with vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

As illustrated by A Whiz’ comment above, the Trump Disciple Republican Base doesn’t give a sh!t about any of those issues, nor any other policies to improve the nation or its citizens.

They care only about finding issues to LIE about and weaponize. They are thrilled when there are problems like high gas prices, inflation, supply chain problems. Even though world wide, they claim all or them are Biden’s fault, or Democrats’.

And they LIE about every issue.

And they are NOT interested in solutions of any kind, only gaining and consolidating power, including the destruction of democracy in America.

When Their Messiah engages in criminal behavior — again — they attack DOJ, FBI, Congress, again making up LIEs about all of them in the process.

They admire him for his Treason, tax evasion, massive corruption and all his criminal behavior.

Their end game is to eliminate democracy in America.

Of course they will forget the good, because Tr**p is sucking all the oxygen out of the news, and the media is allowing it.

Conservative Distractions, empty declarations, ad-hominem attacks, false equivalencies, and whataboutisims to hide their racism, bigotry, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, ignorance, and criminal behaviors just won’t work anymore. Voters have the reality of their own situations that have been severely affected by the actions and inaction of TFG and his Republican minions.

Sigh! Yeah, they probably will. Some folks will remember but those that do will already be voting against trump. The middle 40 will have forgotten most of the stuff the repugs have done by the end of September. Cohen said trump believes that most people can’t remember anything for more than a few days, hence his strategy of distraction, obfuscation and delay. I REALLY wish he was wrong but I don’t think he is.

I won’t forget. At my age, I may forget what I walked into a room for, but at the ballot box, I know exactly what I came for. A conservative acquaintance accuses me of belonging to the so-called “cancel culture” because I will cancel out his vote. I’m rather proud of that.

A recent cartoon had the orange blowhard trading military secrets for Colonel Sanders’ “secret” chicken recipe. This one has him trading secrets for the “secret” Big Mac sauce (yuck!). Is the “secret” formula for Coca Cola next?

Speaking of clueless…. this guy sounds almost as smart as PattyCakes, ss or nunfetish:

“A lot of people say we’re in a Banana Republic. I think that’s an insult to Banana Republics across the country. I mean, at least the manager of Banana Republic, unlike our president, knows where he is and why he’s there and what he’s doing.”— GOP congressional candidate Bob Hine

I am trying to figure out how spending 700 billion is supposed to fight inflation. The government spending money it does not have is what is causing inflation to begin with. Oh, but the government actually wants inflation because it makes debt easier to pay. For the first time in several decades (I am thinking Clinton years) there is finally a bill passed that a few good things in it. (I am not for the excessive spending of the bill but do think it is time to improve Medicare)

Maybe the abscence of these documents will convince people to stop attacking people without evidence. Also, the reason insulin is so high is because of government monopolies, remove those and the price will go down.
