So far, Republican heroes Cotton and Santos, or whatever his name is, are defending him.

    Law and Order, ya know.

Nah, Republicans won’t be the ones rushing to sign the Democrats’ petition demanding Bob Menendez’s resignation. From Donald Trump to George Santos, they are the party of defending indicted politicians. Bob Menendez? He is their big chance to show their bipartisan support of indicted felons. Donald Trump? Silent so far. George Santos (or George Devolder or Anthony Devolder or Anthony Zabrovsky or Kitara Ravache, or whatever his/her/their real name turns out to be)? He is already voicing support for Menendez.

Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer needs to call their bluff. There is no impeachment option for members of the House or Senate. The Constitution only provides that as a way to remove elected or Senate-confirmed appointed officials in the Judicial and Executive branches.

The method for removing wayward senators and representatives is that each house of congress can EXPEL a member on a two-thirds vote.

Chuck Schumer needs to call the Republicans’ pro-corruption bluff. Call for a motion to expel Bob Menendez and let Democratic New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy appoint a replacement. Democrats will overwhelmingly vote to expel. Force the Republican senators to take a side. Vote to expel or vote in favor of corruption.

    C’mon Chuckie, just do it.

Democrats in New Jersey have already declared that Menendez isn’t getting the nomination. Republicans in the Senate have no control over it. Mendez should not run again, until the issue be resolved, or face reality and retire.

Strange, isn’t it,that the DEMOCRATS want to see justice done, and the REPUBLICANS want to continue to support lawbreakers, INCLUDING the Fat Orange Traitor, Rapist, and Felon…

As frequently noted, democrats do have higher standards. Unfortunately the general public don’t seem to care which gives the republicans all the cover they need.

None of those conservatives up on that wall should be expected to resign or cease to campaign because of accusations of malfeasance or misfeasance, whether the charges carry criminal penalties or not.

    Because they are all Republicans.

And anything they do is OKBARDI (OK Because A Republican Did It).

No matter how guilty Menendez is, it doesn’t mean Trump is innocent.

Why Trump is an innocent as a newborn baby(rattlesnake)

The republicans are encouraging Senator Menendez to hang in there and NOT resign – they’re afraid it will set a BAD precedent – most republicans wear their indictments like a badge of honor…
