Um, yes, I make the sound of the ha-ha at this mild exaggeration of possibilities.

You can be thirteen billion miles away from Earth, but you cannot escape Ed Crankshaft.

See, now finally for the first time in months: this is a Good Crankshaft strip – we’ve got one of his better tropes (grilling mishap), a legit punchline, and decent pacing. This is what I come to read, not the trash tropes and navel gazing we’ve been subjected to since the cancellation of Funky Winkerbean. Do more of this!
