    Those leg vein blood clots (which can develop after long periods of sitting, as aboard an airliner) can kill you—a CNN reporter who was covering the first Gulf War (I believe it was Arthur Kent) died from one very soon after arriving over there—so Horace isn’t exaggerating much!

    He has a point. If you really want to risk your life, that takes a lot less effort than many other ways I can think of. It’ll just be much slower and far less spectacular.
