I saw recent news reports that Hurricane Fiona “blew avocados off the trees”. Not sure when removable fruit started being used as a measure of wind force. Possible the addition of the word “unripe” would have been a step in the right direction. :)
I wish my trees (and the other ones in the cul-de-sac) dropped leaves like that after their color peaked. Whoomf! Rake ‘em to the curb in one fell swoop and that’s that.
