    Depends on how your lead feels! If you feel light, #1. If you feel dark and heavier, feel free to erase all your sketches , use door #2!

    A day late for the eraser, according to Gaggle :

    Several places on the internet show National Pencil Day as occurring on March 30th (instead of March 31st).
