Our church has had some members in prison. We were not allowed to send food, stickers (they peel the stamps off), photographs, or write on the paper or envelope with markers.
Yesterday I say why don’t they drop him a postcard to say they’re all right, and a couple folk complained, “Oh no! It would leave clues!” or “You can’t send mail to prisoners!” Take this, Nay-sayers!
Yep, you can send packages. Had a part-time job that involved sending packages. Huge boxes of junk food were occasionally mailed off to prisoners. (But you can bet it’s all X-rayed before it’s given out at the prison.)
I wonder what this is about ? And greet job with the images for sure : ) His expression in the last panel is really something for sure , I’m not sure his friend should eat anything out of the box ?
Ans, once in tn the infirmary, the tonsil-powered teleportation device cunningly hidden in the spring surprise in the lower left corner wafts the eater off to mysterious, fog-shrouded Dodo Island in lower Wackyland.
1- GORDO GUARDO: Here. We scanned it for weapons but it could still be full of illicit drugs for all we know. So be careful! Don’t eat too much till you know for sure!
2- :EAT ME FUDGE FACTORY
3- GABREVIL: Marvelous! I was wasting away in here! I wonder who sent these?
4- DOUBLE COLA: Is there any significance in the fact that – to me – that fudge brings to mind “BLOND” and “CHERRY”? BLOND AND CHERRY! Oh. And even more odd – SARAH ?
5- GABREVIL: What? That’s stupid! It’s just fudge from some 4T fan. Now help me safely pack the fudge …away some place where I won’t eat it all in one setting!
I’m trying to remember when we last saw Doubleup. I do remember that he actually showed some heart, when we learned his background, and then we saw him as a bodyguard during the Spirit crossover. He had a legitimate job and he didn’t commit any crime then, so why is he in jail now?

Blackmail game brings jail and shame. Now sentenced by the judge
Gabriel, lay down your horn. Tuck into Fletcher’s fudge.
The ladies send fond greetings They wish that you were here
Carbondale end of the trail, so far yet still so near.
Now double up with roomie who chews his cabbage twice
Relegated to a cell. These digs are none too nice.
Have a care. ‘Tis wise to share when roomie could do harm
Lay low, new meat and be discreet, or you may buy the farm.

The Blondie and Cherry are indeed on the job. With good behavior on a mere four years, he’ll be out in no time.

Help yourself, Double Up. But don’t take one from the bottom left & bite into it. That’s the piece with the spoon in it.

Good morning™, all!
I like seeing Rick Fletcher’s signature incorporated into the story. (He is a former Dick Tracy strip artist for anyone who doesn’t know.)
It does look like his angels sent a package from “heaven.” Lots of little puns in there.

Recently someone thought that Eric might not be allowed to have his villans cross over with Mike’s. Here, at least for one day, he was.

How Doubleup got caught happened “off-camera”, which is a no-no. Inquiring trivia minds want to know.
Is there a mass prison break in the works? We haven’t had a good one in a long time
