Junior got ’er done ! ..And in 2 weeks we will have forgotten where we left off in this 2nd interrupted DT story.

The lights are on but is anybody home?Are the clocks ticking?

Me still not get what use is lightings it when it no work.

Alas, a beacon for all the clock watchers out there!

ohh the comedic oversized light switch… and isn’t it amazing how lights that have been off for many years… just seemingly work….next they will want the clock to work… ooo look ..is that jimmy hoffa?

At the start of the strip it was stated all the valuable materials had been taken from the factory for scrap. That would have included all the copper wiring. And, if they missed it in the 1950s, in the 1980s when copper prices soared and the US went to making cheap pennies vandals would have broken in for it.

But, as I’ve pointed out for days, even if the wiring was left no one with even half a brain would throw a switch and trust wiring installed in 1937. It would all have to be replaced. How long would it take one man to do a three man job requiring several months? And why would Sr. remove electricians working on jobs which made a profit to put them on a project just the feed the governor’s ego?

Seconds later, all of Tracyville is plunged into a city-wide blackout.

The British are coming!

Aaaaand…the timer is now set for the gelignite the tower is packed with.

Cue the mighty CLOCK LASER!!!

and voila, the lights work. :D
