This 1997 ‘toon is prescient when applied to the horrors that are Trump. Frames One and Two represent everything that Trump is not. Frame One: “prudent, responsible government” was eliminated with Trump’s first impeachment. Frame Two: “Honor, dignity and humility” was eliminated by the Trump Insurrection of January 6, 2021, leading to his second impeachment. Frame Three: “I have no clear idea” certainly describes Trump’s understanding of the Constitution of the United States.
The world could use more like her – everywhere.

This is so sad to read because I cannot think of a single republican save Cheney and Kinzinger that even remotely measures up to her standards, there hasn’t been one in a long time, even before trump. trump was not the disease so much as he was the symptom.
