Okay, so I have to admit. I never heard of black chocolate chip cookies. I guess Famous Amos brand has good cookies, but it was just good cookies. Now I have to Google again.

Dang! And here I’ve been enjoying chocolate chip cookies all my white life. Who knew?

Clyde’s “success” was a spoof of Famous Amos,a Black cookie magnate of the times.The original went through bankruptcy and had to sell the naming rights to the company.They’re still around somewhere,but they don’t advertise like they used to
