If he was leaving in hospital scrubs, policeman uniform, fireman uniform or a military uniform then i could see it…. otherwise, all he was a overpaided entertainer…

Happy trails, Tom. May you enjoy retirement, and find success in whatever you do in the future.

He was Superman in his chosen profession. And as a die-hard Denver Bronco fan, that wasn’t easy for me to say.

Enjoy your retirement Tom, you’ve given it your all for 20 years.

This Super Bowl could mark the dawn of a new generation of quarterbacks. As for Brady, he needed to retire sooner so that generation could flourish. He really sucked a lot of oxygen out of the room. Maybe his ego needed it.

The long nightmare is finally over. Good thing he wasn’t drafted by the Jets or Lions.

His biggest legacy is the fact that everyone is playing Brady ball. The checkdowdowns, and crossing routes are being used by most teams now. And they are being successful doing it.

Superman in his field. There isn’t just one Super Hero, the people you listed are all Super Heroes as well.

Yes, I agree he was the GOAT. But how many times did Magic Johnson “retire”?
