I don’t s’pose any evangelicals ever thought about being “woke” as applying the Golden Rule, being as how that’s not really part of “Christianity”.

Or something.

It’s the opposite of ‘brain-dead’.

It is the past tense of “wake,” such as “I woke you up too early, didn’t I?”

“Woke”,smoke and mirrors to distract the voters from real issues.

The original definition (born of the BLM movement) was very straightforward-the refusal to be complacent in the face of social injustice.

Pretty far-fetched, the elephunt asking that question.

Excellent! It varies from day to day and from person to person, group to group.

Seems to be anything they don’t think they like, for whatever reason. Or anything they think they can label in such a ways as to incite their voters to go to the polls, for them. One good indicator seems to be any idea since about the year 1600 (chosen arbitrarily).

I can’t figure out what that red thing is in the elephant’s hands.
