Here’s an interesting point. All this time the Topsiders have been shown as cruel to those that aren’t Topsiders (anyone who can survive without a suit). Apparently they are cruel to each other as well. Oh, I’m sure the test subjects are volunteers….
It’s possible that Benny may have been sent here by Amesworth before the portals went out of sync. I really hope that if they find Benny during this tour—that he’s ok.
I’m thinking something like DOCTOR WHO “The Rebel Flesh” https://joediliberto.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/rebelflesh01.jpg or just living crash test dummies
Ok, I’m closing my eyes until they finish with the swimsuit competition and move this show onto the talent portion. I’m betting that the children of the New Humanity could do some pretty cool tricks with…whatever they’ve got for bodies.
Duffy is still clutching the talisman. I don’t think he’s going to let go of it until they’re safely away from that place and home again. Wherever home is, once things settle down!
The horrified looks on Wally & Co.’s faces says it all. I suspect the results of the Topsider experiments are pretty grotesque.
Remember Amesworth’s chilling words… “you’ve lost the recipe, so you start substituting ingredients. Now the oven’s not working right, and the guests have started to arrive. You tell yourself it’s just as good as the original…” (paraphrasing). And this is the result — the devil’s own potluck.
Our dear leader ( Wally ) has seen some pretty bad and scary stuff in his journeys. It is hard to fathom just what kind of creations could cause him ( and the others) such fearful expressions!!!
I just had to pick Friday NZST to catch up during, didn’t I? I’d be much luckier if I waited long enough for the next comic to be part of my multi-page harvest.

Umm, it could be very bad if the Eye gets in with Lab 70.
And yeah, it must be pretty bad to get that reaction from all of them, especially Wally.

Nothing like a jolly ol’ trip to the topsider labs to get rid of that “I’ve seen it all” attitude, eh Wally?

And here we thought Wally and co. were going for a tour of the shopping mall.

His last job was a barker for the carnival side show. His mannerisms seem some what familiar….a Topsider Aaron Marx….?

I take it from their reaction that the experiment was somewhat less than successful…

So they have in fact all gone mad; still able to do “cutting edge” science perhaps, but definitely mad.

Wally: “I’ve seen some pretty grotesque stuff in my life.”
Topsider: “Hold my beer.”

Grexation: Anybody here remember, before Linux was Unix – and the simple command to read a text file was GREP?
I remember a few times telling people to GREP this and GREP that…
Started sounding like a bad word or something…

LAB 70 would be a nice name for a rock band. It sounds ominous.
