NOT THE DITTOES……!!!

Dang. Something bad is about to happen (again).

Dittos being controlled by the eye?

Thus endeth the Dittos

Two possibilities. (1) the dittoes are confirming to Wally that it’s the Eye/I controlling the entire Topsider compound and illustrating that Eye/I is intent on destroying it by mimicking flames. (2) the dittoes have now been corrupted/taken over and Eye/I is taunting Wally. “Yes, your dittoes are now mine, yes it is I, and I have destruction in mind for you.”

Either way, Wally is stressed, as evidenced by his fluffed tail!

Dittos: “You’re going to have to go through hell, to get out the other side, Wally.”

I fell into a burning ring of fire; I went down, down, down and the flames went higher

Well that’s not what you want to see…..

I’m guessing Ted’s signal is what is disrupting the dittos, wresting them from Wally’s control? Smart.

Dry, burning Is? Try Visine…

No matter how bad things may seem, Wally, they can always get worse!

It’s a message! … three syllables…! Said-a-give??!!

This would be a good time for a villain’s monologue to build tension, but Eye can’t get past the first syllable and the dittos are flaming. Say something Wally!

The McGuffin caught fire. And you thought you were doomed before?

Dittos burning, Topsiders humming, hey guys! You need to start running.

Reminds me of when Jim the Raccoon burned Unity to the ground… or the underground, as the case may have been.

Ditto is stating the future: “This place is going to burn. GTFO … Now.”

Like he needed to know.

I’m sorry. But, that look of “OH S#!T, we’re totally screwed!” on Wally’s face in the last panel is totally priceless!

You know, that burning circle at the end reminds me a little of Sauron.

A lot of comments about Ted. Who is he, and did I miss something?

I forget… What color should Wally’s badge be? Does it really detect Aimsworth radiation, or dimensional incursions, or is one an effect of the other?

Is it just me, or have we been months now with a lot of foreshadowing – but not a lot of action?
