Hold your nose and jump in.
Honor those who bar the gate with their lives.
“Who do you think I am, your editor? Now, move!”
That mutant hell is breaking up that old gang of mine
I’m a cardoodle, not a hero!
What do their zero guns have to say about it?
This was what came to "my"mind after seeing panel 1. https://looneytunes.fandom.com/wiki/That%27s_all_Folks!?file=All.jpg
Those two are apparently willing to sacrifice themselves just for the chance that this procedure can be completed and the chance that it will work to save others. It’s a slim chance, but the only choice there is. Duffy…you’ve gotten the adventure you were looking for.
I wonder if this is a case of “here goes nothing” or “here we go INTO nothing”. ;/
Not quite the rear guard action I envisioned; but it will do……….Here’s hoping the basket swing is right on target and soon!
Taking one for the home team!
Say goodbye. Close the door. Pray this works.
Okay, the plan is … We got no plan.
Those Topsiders are going to die trying to save the lives of the rest of the group.
Notice Connor is being polite to our guys. “…. Excuse me.”
Connor’s first name couldn’t possibly be John, could it?
And that’s that.I started rereading from the beginning in late October and I’m all caught up. 11 or 12 years of story line in 2 months, now what do I do for entertainment?Interesting to watch this story line unfold over such a short time. Wondering if it is just a series of short/long adventures changing the heros out, (Al to Wally, to Walt, back to Wally…my favorite), and see hints as to a bigger picture pop up here and there, wondering if those hints would ever amount to anything, and seeing it all come together, hoping there is an end. Not that I want it to end, but every story line has to have a goal. Also wish I had the time to read everyone’s e.ts as I went, but there were so many of them. None in the beginning, but 6 years ago they grew, and so many people getting it. And guessing correctly what was going to happen. Its amazing how (not meaning to sou d insulting) brilliant the readers are, more so than me. I had to read the comments just understand what was going on, see the hints. Good job guys! Thanks for making the ride so much better!
Wow, Topsiders actually being noble and self sacrificing….
