I found my birth mother though Ancestry. Unfortunately, her daughter who did the test for her on a lark, didn’t expect to get the results she did and forbid her mother talking to me. But she did anyway. She was dying and thankfully thought I had a right to know the circumstances.

They all come out of the woodwork, for a lottery win or a will.
When my mother died, I heard from cousins I hadn’t heard from for 40 years, hoping there was something for them.
If I won the lottery, I would change my name and move to another country. I would NEVER tell anyone that I came into money.
