I think the rule should be if you’re not strong enough to lift it yourself, you’re not good enough to eat it…

Reminds me of the Spongebog episode where Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy went to war, in a way, all because Barnacle Boy wanted to eat more than just the “Pipsqueak Patty”….

Can Adam Richman of Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food” eat a The Mammoth Burger? In the Detriot episode, he and a team of other characters tried to eat one similar in two hours, but they ran out of time (not to mention they were too full).

“Tropical Treats”, in Hanover PA has a burger called the “FATBOY”. Not huge but man is it good. Unfortunately, it’s a drive-in and closed for the winter.

I think some of those “extreme” restaurants even advertise that they have a medical professional on staff. I’d never eat at one of those; I’m sure the place is all based on that gimmick and I hate large portions.

When I go out to eat, the best is to find a really great new dish I’ve never eaten (so I can try to make it at home) or even just a good slice of really tender rare prime rib (that I can never prepare at home unless I know the heat taste of all the guests and a party of at least 6). I never want to waste anything, and even before tis vegetarian year I like the vegetables to take at least 1/2 my plate.
