Michael: People like girls better than they like boys... especially babies. Everybody likes Elizabeth, but nobody likes me. John: Michael, that's not true! Babies need more attention, that's all. You're big, now! You can take care of yourself! Michael: Dad? Would you teach me how to drive?
Reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes joke: Calvin wants to use the garage, so he releases the handbrake and pushes the car out. The car rolls straight across the street and into a ravine. Calvin’s dad says “In the big scheme of things, it’s not so bad… In another ten years you’ll probably be wrecking my car!”
