Magnetic field intensity is widely designated using the letter H. An H minus? Magnetic flux density generally is designated with the letter B. If we want to create a comic like this, let’s get our physics language correct.
Many years ago, I was explaining to my mother that the speed of light is constant, about 186,000 miles per second. She then asked me, “Doesn’t light move slower at night?”. Left me totally speechless.
Hey, at least it’s a passing grade. Science was not my strong suit in high school. I didn’t do as bad in Science as I did in Math (screw you, Algebra!), but I managed to scrape by.

As a college physics dropout, I can relate

The worst part of this strip is, it’s not a physics test.

Ah yeah the c in E=mc(squared).

“B”.
Hey, if it gets your students to study.

Thankfully the instructor didn’t “use the Force” in grading Peter.

I’m already missing Kroykali’s weekly message directing us to the classic FoxTrot Sunday strip. Oh, well, here it goes for this week:
/foxtrot/2003/03/30
Unfortunately I’m too lazy to keep track of them every Sunday. Plus I’m never up as early as he is. Oh, well.

“Ah, I did not know that.”
“We covered it the second week of class. Review your notes before the next exam.”

But will he ever reach the level of a magnetic vector potential? (Doubtful.)

I can say I understand psychics but physics is an altogether different set of understanding.

Teaching is tough. Being a teacher with a sense of humour is tougher. (believe me)

Peter nearly got a good grade? Maybe Jason helped him a bit after all.

Well, I’ll give the teacher props for creativity at least.

He was close to getting an H-?

That’s the speed of light in a vacuum.

I thought C+ would be a milestone for Peter?

This teacher seems fun.

What? A C is average! You did better than just barely passing! Frankly I’m surprised you did THAT good!

Put another plus and what’ve you got, an object oriented programming language!

I have heard that this physics teacher is modeled after Bill Amend’s physics teacher.

But exceeding the speed of light is impossible, Mr Fizzix.

Peter would get a B but his physics teacher had reluctance to do so.
Rauderi 7 months ago
“But sir, nothing can go faster than the speed of light.”
“Correct. Here, let me adjust your grade to just a C, then.”
AB9SS 7 months ago
That close to a B-. Maybe Peter’s absorbing the material albeit another 25 years of comics before that happens.

If he stays with the program he might get a C++
