He’s gone cuckoo.
He is all wound up.
He said with alarm.
In my comics reading today “The Flying McCoys” is immediately followed by “Frank and Ernest” and both have desert-island jokes. It was bound to happen.
That boat is way too close to the island — as in stuck in the sand. “Hey Mate, can you give us a shove? You’re welcome to come aboard once we get moving,”
This strip was a bit alarming.
Love how he is also doing The Wave. :)
Does this mean his ship came in?
Last but naut least, they found Frankie in the nick of time.
I don’t get it. Instead of “ring”, it’s “bring”, as in bring in a ship?
I don’t get it, either. Nor does my kin. If you do, reader, please explain.
To anyone who is perplexed: He has been on the island so long with no human company and only the alarm clock that he has forgotten how to speak and can only make clock noises.
@pachearer You nailed it. Guess he was lucky it wasn’t s solar powered electronic model. Not a tick or tock in a day. He’d be mute or babbling old Milton Berle routines.
Did anyone else think of Hunger Games? Tick tock, tick tock!
I don’t get it

Frequently I find two or three strips with same central idea.
Someone lost an At Sign!
