Snot freezing here this morning.

Something rare in central VA – a day at or below freezing. Wind will take it lower. At my age, that’s enough adventure. Pantry stocked, blankets stacked, power on [we hope it will remain so], coffee perking. We’ll sit this one out.

So we have months leading up to “brr” ending in “ber,” and then months ending in “y” as in “‘Y is it so cold?”

I used to live in Wyoming were below 0 temps were not that unusual. Having a frozen beard & ’stash is a real pain, both literally and figuratively.

Another one that won’t translate well for the non-English speaking markets — even in the Northern Hemisphere.

A slang term that will never catch on.

Caulfield has a point. Come to think, it’s only January and February that sound like that. It’s been very January here this past week!
