CHA-CHING! Pay dirt! And you are such a good and helpful boy. When she gets around to cleaning the floor, that spot with the sausages will be the cleanest place in the kitchen except for a little tongue slime.
Yeah, whatever happened to the 5-second rule? On the other hand, she’s turned her back and just left the mess on the floor for Fred to clean up. Go Fred!
Years ago when I had Huskies …. I had grilled some steaks for myself and a couple of the guys that worked for me ….. one of the was sitting over one of the dog dishes and some how the steak slipped out of his plate and landed in the dish …. all you could here was toe nails of 10 Huskies trying to get to that dish …… he literally snatched that steak off the dish (he was moving fast) before the dogs got there …… rinsed the steak off and sat back down and ate it …………… I cut up the extra steaks that I had grilled for the dogs and gave it to them then, to calm them down …… great memories …… :)

If the floor is clean then just pick the lunch up before Fred does and no-one will be the wiser.

Fred usually has to steal sausages from the table. This time he gets two sausages on the level.

Does this mean root vegetables should not be eaten because they grow in dirt ..

Lunch is ruined, and it was only two sausages. Not much of a lunch for her, but for Fred, it’s like hitting the lottery!

That little mishap will easily clean up with a paper towel, while Fred enjoys his bonus snack
