I had never heard of fish pie, before visiting Ballina in Ireland. I loved it!

Fish pie sounds disgusting. But then again, they are Brits!

I never saw a basset hound that didn’t eat everything…

Our first Sheltie was a fish-hound. He could never pass up any dish with fish in it. Or, fish without a dish.

That has to be utterly disgusting for a basset to turn it down. They’ll eat anything and everything and then unleash the foghorn to tell you they’re still hungry.

Little Miss Maggie was also nicknamed “Miss Picky.” We couldn’t even change her treats without subterfuge.
