“Hot dog” Fred!

Yes. You need to be evenly toasted. Don’t want one side “burnt” and the other “raw”.

For some people, space heaters serve the same purpose, although they run up the electric bill.

It just feels so good, Fred, but be careful.

Fred some of us humans do the same thing ! Nothing beats a warm fire on a cold winter night ;-)

Sweet! I had a cat that almost caught fire in the fireplace once. He figured it out before it was too late.

“Done to a turn,” right Fred?

This makes me think of a saying we once used when lying out by the pool or on the beach: “Thirty minutes (or 15 minutes for us fairer-skinned types) on a side, and then out of the fire!”. (However even the 15 minutes is too long now)
