And so I ate them.We had a cat named Little Bit. Her mother once caught a full-sized rabbit and dragged it into the house through the bathroom window while we were attending Easter Mass.
Who remembers Alan Bennett’s sermon in ‘Beyond the Fringe’? “Life is like a sardine can, …….. but there’s always that little bit in the corner that you can’t get out.
Little Bit was a black cat. She like to sit with the tip of her tongue sticking out. I knew a guy in grammar school who did that, too.He bit it nearly in two when he fell off the swings. It was bitten clear through the middle and only connected by the edges on either side. That was a strange day.He recovered. The cat has been dead for a long time. Now I have a black stray with no tail who keeps the chipmunk population under control. Life is weird. If somebody tells you a story, and it isn’t weird, then it probably isn’t true.

I’m sure that it’s just a coincidence that a Google search of “similar images” to this strip yields old maps and building layouts of textile mills.
