Who decided it was a good idea for the written American language to have so-called silent letters? Itâs not in the constitution. I never voted for it. Iâm pretty sure it wasnât in the âTerms and Conditionsâ that you have to agree to before you sign up for a GoComics account.
Â
The Phonecians donât use silent letters. You hear a lot about phonetics, but did you every met anyone from Phonecia? Me âkneither.â Theyâre extinct. BUT, people (like Teresa and BrassO) with their fancy silent letters are not extinct. Far from it. Todayâs FA is a perfect example of how âtheyâ flaunt their silent letteredness.
Rotifer? The rotifers make up a phylum of microscopic and near-microscopic pseudocoelomate animals. They were first described by Rev. John Harris in 1696, and other forms were described by Antonie van Leeuwenhoek in 1703.

Does America need more Nattering Kninja Knitters? I say No!
Why wear a knitted cholera belt when you can go around draped in a full-sized Native American blanket?!
Shop local! Itâs your patriotic duty, not Dundee!
