Food for thought.

When Hairy met Sally.

Apparently not just emotional intelligence. Just Boobled it, and saw a Zoo Pals segment from a “local 12” newscast. They eat insects. So they will burrow under a carcass, and wait for the scavenger insects to come and get it.

In the report I saw, they are always born in pairs, one male and one female. How the heck does that even work?!

I contemplated that too and liked that she was a screamer, but couldn’t get past the fact that she was hairier than I liked. She didn’t dig me that much anyway.

Please don’t judge when I cover my ears!

If there’s anything I can’t stand is a hairy armadillo screaming when he gets his haircut!

Seriously?

I prefer to contemplate the pink fairy armadillo (Chlamyphorus truncatus), which is too small to contain any kind of intelligence.

(Chlamyphorus = cloak-bearer, truncatus = abruptly cut off; the pink fairy armadillo looks like its butt has been chopped off with just a fringe of hair remaining.)

Chaetophractus = protected by bristles (from Greek), vellerosus = full of hair (from Latin).

I only meet armadillos who lack emotional intelligence, and who display cluster B personality traits.

An armadillo named Phyllis

Contracted the silly bacillus

That caused her leathery suit

To become extremely hirsute

No wonder piercing screams

Interrupted her dreams

Her highly intelligent emoting

Was not effective in promoting

Calm in the armadillo lair

Until Phyllis used the product Nair®

Roadkill cuisine.

I knew Harry Armadillo and you’re no Hairy Armadillo, or then again ………

Okay, I’ll ask … is the screaming caused by an armadildo…?
