I ain’t scared of no ghosts!
But is Jon afraid of ghost?
Jon, you wimp.
You know Jon is. His own shadow scares him.
Hey Garfield, stop over I made 4 large pans of Lasagna for us to celebrate National Lasagna day!
Jon has a date, and I don’t. pffffft
Does dating Jon make Liz a superhero?
“I ’ain’t afraid of no ghost”
One of Garfield’s best lines.
Dating Jon is not a sign of bravery. It is a sign of insanity. Liz has needed a vacation with the nice men in the clean white coats and the rubber rooms for a long time now.
Excellent point, Garfield
Anyone within 3ft of Jon is quite brave
“But I am scared of becoming Mrs. Jon Arbuckle!”
Liz is so brave. Dating such a dangerous guy like Jon is enough to give her a medal. No wonder she ain’t afraid of ghosts.
It’s only brave when you’re not scared of something you think is real.
If there’s something strange, In your neighborhood, Who you gonna call?
She calls Ghostbusters.
Did Liz disappear in the 3rd panel because Jon all a sudden is talking about her in the third person? Could it be that Liz isn’t afraid because she is a ghost herself?
John Arbuckle, the Brutus Thornapple of the cat owners world.
the question should be “are you afraid of showing out in public with me and introduce me to your parents?”
That’s the difference between Jon and Liz, Jon is such a wuss, and Liz isn’t.
Sometimes Garfield hits the nail on the head!
More than guts, Liz needs (very) thick skin and a high tolerance of goofiness to date Jon and be seen with him in public.
I feel like Garfield is in the room when Jon does things in “private”.
She only scared of Jon’s ugly clothing!
Garfield has a way of owning but still loving the owner-in-name-only!
Liz, you can protect Jon from the ghosts…
Sometime when you’re in bed and the lights are off, look at an object in the dark and it will start to look like it’s moving!
Garfield’s brave too.
Happy National Lasagna Day! That sounds really good right now.
She’s not the only girl who had enough courage to date him. Back in the day, there was one girl who said she was raised by wolves; and she was cute.
I wish I knew the date in which Liz finally accepted Jon and they began their relationship, it was sometime between the time our local newspaper incredibly dropped “Garfield” from their lineup and before it occurred to me to look it up on The Web. If I knew the date that it happened I could go to the archives and read it from there.
How many skeletons, does Liz have in her closet ?
Knock it off Garfield.
Dear fatty feline, don’t bite the hands that feed you. Sometimes your adjectives are way too insinuating to the owner who feeds you.
is there going to be more of a story with Liz? Would love to see John get married and have kids
