Hmm. Garfield likes some really heavy coffee.

Need to serve Doc’s coffee. Garfield would love it.

My son’s preferred coffee is strong enough to patch driveways.

“I drink tea, darling.” — Tom Holland. Seriously, I gave up daily coffee, and I don’t miss it. It never kept me awake anyway, so I drink it occasionally.

In my younger days (more than 3/4 of a century ago), I enjoyed hiking and camping out. This brought to mind some of the “campfire coffee” I enjoyed in those long-ago days. Okay, you had to strain the grinds through your teeth, but it was still pretty good on a chilly morning while watching the sunrise.

Been awhile since a trip to Irma’s Diner!

The coffee sounds more like peanut butter.

That diners’ coffee and tea gives almost as good a buzz as Jägermeister or cannabis edibles!!

How is Irma still in charge of that place if the food is terrible? I think it’s high time she was replaced with another restauranteur who is a lot more competent than she is.

The coffee’s probably mud.

Garfield would also appreciate a fly in his coffee.

Haven’t seen Irma in a while. Granted I only came back to reading this strip after being away for years.

Cats are not supposed to drink either, but Garfield is not an average cat, I guess.

when they make the coffee in the coffee machine, instead of dumping the wet/ground coffee, they put it into the mix, at least I think that’s what extra-chunky means. Also, I have a possibly a different coffee machine, so it might not be the same.

Much as I like strong coffee, I have serious doubts about what she’s serving up. As for Garfield, he of the cast-iron stomach, I doubt it will do him any harm.

What about food in addition to beverages?
