How dare the media impugn the character of a immature heroic wannabe who boasted about his getting away with murder in front of a bunch of white supremacists.

Just as he cannot legitimately claim self defense for behavior that he instigated, the media cannot assassinate his character, since he has none.

What a way to distract from Fox Propaganda, featuring FTucker Carlson, showing that it was nothing more than a reality TV show funded, scripted, coached, and filmed to be inspiration to a certain audience and rake in lots of money and viewers. Once the charge of firearm legality was thrown out, the rest was able to fall into place nicely, using Wisconsin’s law. The fact that he perjured himself about several aspects wasn’t on trial here and I doubt anyone is going to follow up on it, because it would be “bad optics”.

And of course, the producer of this reality TV show’s angle:

I hope you guys enjoyed the show. It was a funding and ratings bombshell which makes me wonder what the sequel will be.

As for the judge, given his erratic behavior throughout the trial, he might consider making this his high point and consider retiring to become a contributor to FTucker Carlson’s show.

If exactly the same thing had happened with a black kid and MAGA rally, how would that have turned out for the shooter, and how would Varvel have portrayed the event ?

Right, Gary. It’s all the “media’s” fault. Just like January 6, 2020 was the media’s fault too, right Gary?

Disgusting isn’t it.. Fox News has exclusive rights to character assassination. No doubt they will sue. Besides, a young boy has every right to play vigilante, this is America afterall.

Oh my, how the right wing needs to save gun rights. Hierarchy of who is the most worthy to survive. What a lovely country we will live in should they get their way. Even white men are fair game if their beliefs don’t conform exactly to the red-hat ideology.

Rittenhouse assassinated his own “character” by illegally acquiring a weapon, crossing state lines with that weapon, lying to police about being a paramedic, and playing out some immature fantasy in Kenosha. He didn’t cry taking two lives. He cried later.

Rittenhouse was a stupid teenager toting a powerful weapon to scene of unrest. The cops should have stopped him and called his parents. They didn’t, and now 2 people are dead. He’ll need to live with this for the rest of his life.

CNN panel celebrates misfortunes of ‘scum’ neo-Nazis after being ‘decimated’ by jury verdict

On CNN Tuesday, a panel celebrated the verdict in the Charlottesville neo-Nazi case, finding key leaders liable for civil conspiracy damages stemming from disaster that unfolded at the 2017 “Unite the Right” Rally.

“The alt-right is dead,” said CNN correspondent Elle Reeve. “Almost every group involved in this has quit the movement. Most of the leaders have quit. The only person making a go at it is Chris Cantwell. He’s been calling into a podcast to gain more followers. But he’s called himself a star, that he’s winning, but it has an air of desperation. The guy is in prison.”

“He’s not a star, he’s scum,” agreed anchor Jim Acosta, who then turned to Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Grenblatt. “Jonathan, the far right leaders and groups are now liable for more than $26 million in damages … could that go some distance in hindering their ability to spread hate? Do you share the view that some of these very awful people have been decimated in their efforts?”

“Here’s the reality,” said Grenblatt. “In the 1980s, they helped to bankrupt the white resistance movement. They lost their compound. They lost earnings. We did that 30, 40 years ago. I think, today, this will be a deterrent to future groups. But here’s the challenge that we have. Extremism has been normalized and still amplified in large part because of social media. And if you think this wasn’t a problem, I would say to you, there’s a through-line from Charlottesville to Capitol Hill. So now we need to turn our attention to the social media companies, where the extremists can amplify their ideas, where they still organize through platforms like Facebook groups, and as they are held accountable, now I think the government is regulating the social media platforms where these conspiracies have been able not just to take route, but planned and implemented by bad actors.”

It will be interesting to see how it plays out in civil court.

It is likely that Sandmann walked away with $10’s of Millions, perhaps as high as $100 Million. His case was similar but not identical.

The media will argue that Rittenhouse is a public figure, but that same argument bombed in the Sandmann case. The not guilty verdicts make it easier for Rittenhouse but he will still have to convince a judge and jury that his high public profile was the result of the media frenzy. Proving that the media labeled him a supremacist without any basis or documentation will be a no-brainer

Some “assassination” by liberal media – Rittenhouse is an alt-right celebrity with “street cred”, and two of his victims are still dead…
