So today we get to write our own caption? Ok here goes. The man is saying “Why does this stupid dog always decide he has to go out just when I’m fixing to go to bed?”

Sometimes you say it best when you say nothing at all.

My guess is Varvel intended to place a dialog that somehow blames Biden for high gas prices.

The guy is saying something like this: “We are broke, honey. Biden took all of our savings. We can’t live out of our pension anymore. I’m talking to a friend to see if I can go to work again but it is a 30 mile drive. The worst part is that I have to sell our car so I can get a bicycle. It will be tough”.

Like I do with all conservatives, Iv’e asked Varvel many, many times to offer something that promotes the Republican Party. I have to assume this is the only thing he could come up with.

Not much different from any other intended communication from the RWNJs. Is the caption underneath supposed to be “Another RW Nothingburger”?

The poor man signed an NDA that prevents him from disclosing the stupidity of his creator.

Did he forget to fill in the speech bubble?

Looks like a whole lot of nothing to me.

In a good cartoon the drawing contributes to the meaning; sometimes you don’t even need a caption or a speech bubble, the drawing is enough. Here the drawing tells you nothing about the meaning of the cartoon.

Boy if there ever was an accurate commentary summarizing the collective intelligence in this country (with a few exceptions), as well as the Trumpistas and Republican Party fan boys concept of reality and what it constitutes, this it.

I’d say, “You’re welcome,” except the cartoon is woefully inaccurate in its facts (Dr. Fauci’s case of COVID is very mild and doesn’t require hospitalization) and the cartoon with no words in the balloon is actually funnier; so I’m not sure you really want to thank me for this “service.”

Gary usually doesn’t have any thing worthwhile to say.
