Buck’s face as he’s running away is so funny!

I guess it’s time to MoveOn. As a writer, you cannot take the whole week to engage your audience. You must grab your audience in the first pain or otherwise forget it. Goodbye Bucky have a good life. Goodbye Satchel. Goodbye Rob.Really it has stopped being funny. It has stop being intriguing. It has stopped being a strip. It is now just a waste of time.

For those of you who said you are leaving, please shut the door on your way out, you’re letting the cold air in…

I think the first time this one ran was back in the 1990s. That’s an old style TV and a VCR. Let’s wait till next week before we bail, OK?

I thought this was the lamest series of strips in all the years I’ve been following them, and I have all the books. I’ll just wait until this is over. Hey, everybody hits a slow spell. There have been other characters like huggy cat, or whatever his name is, and Mac Mcmac and Cheese that I didn’t find particularly funny, but maybe someone elsed id. This too will pass.

I don’t know what funnier the strip or reading all your complaining about it.

This wasn’t my favorite storyline, but as someone pointed out, the artwork is great. I have no problems hanging around for that. I am curious though. Is Dabney on hiatus? There seems to have been a lot of reruns lately.

“Stone Soup” does the same thing with the you-gotta-love weeks. Just give us some best of when you need a break, instead of this filler.

One of my cats plays the “I’m not biting you” game incessantly. He opens his jaws and lays his teeth on the other cat. I yell at him, if he bites, so he does this just to annoy the other cat into paying attention to him.

Yes, it’s a rerun (it’s got a 2006 copyright date on it). So Darby’s taking a vacation. You can too.

I’m trying to figure out which is funnier:

The weird, deadpan, loopy, nonsensical, sheer WTF-ness of this “booger” arc?

Or the absolute, righteous fury of the people who don’t find it funny?

I love this arc! Satchel’s reactions are hilarious!

I think this is hysterical! If you’re failing to see the humor then you are not a true fan!

It may be silly but the gleeful expression, with his tongue sticking out, on Bucky’s face and poor Satchels chubby back as he looks behind the TV is worth the whole strip!

Love it…simple straight forward…Cat torturing a dog…happens everyday. Darby is the bomb.

I find this hilarious and the people who hate it even funnier. Must we always have instant gratification.

Darby hasn’t put out any new strips since last summer. Many papers have already dropped the series. I hope Darby has stored up enough money to live on.
