Our house was like that, except it was teenagers. I’d come home to a house full sometimes, while my own was hiding in his room.

Poor Satch! He reminds me of my dog Anise, who feels guilty all the time. When she comes in, when she goes out, when she sees that I see she’s eating, when her sister Cinnamon (who feels guilty about nothing) does something wrong, when the cat does something wrong. Poor girl.
