What’s the “boom” for? Do they shoot opposing players who score in New Thayer?

“And we’re two minutes into the second quarter and neither team has yet to show any defense! Look for this one to set state records for most points scored!”

This is a game destined to be won by a two-point conversion in the last 30 seconds of the fourth quarter.

I’m not sure if “brawl” is the right word as neither team seems to be tackling

In today’s performance of the Milford Playhouse production of “The Longest Yard”, the role of Gil Thorp is being played by Ricky Nelson.

Have to admit that the action this past week, over 4 days, is quite similar to watching a game on TV.

California high school team (12-2) is playing for the state title, and they have not completed a pass this season (0/7). Double wing running game. Coach ’em up Gil!

Far as I can tell, the highest-scoring football game in the Milford history came just two years ago, when Milford lost to Madison, 42-37 (79 points).

Hey, what is that behind Gil? A hopscotch court? That field really is multipurpose, even if high school students wouldn’t normally play that. And speaking of normally, normally at this time you should be reading Mopped Up Thorp.
