P3- As Gil spends quality time with the boys, Fist Pump Family visits Milford Arcade looking for trouble, errr excitement.

P3: But that doesn’t necessarily go for his dad!

2 points! Keep that up and Gil will soon get enough tickets to win one of those Hello Kitty pencil top erasers.

P1 Gil Thorp, shooting star.

P2 SWISH! “Oh.” That’s what she said.

P3 Jami: “Gee Gil, that’s great you let Little Luke call you Gil.” Gil: “Call me dad, or it’ll be the shipping container on a slow freighter back to the sweatshop. Now fetch me a Blasto.”

P-2: Mystery clue: Who’s a swish and why is the youngster exclaiming “OH”?

P-3: A clue to P-2, look at the satisfied expression on the young man as the dialog unfolds.

P 3(Gil): “…Jami’s only friend is always a friend of mine…”

Gil distracts the arcade owner while the boys pull an American Graffiti scam on the pinball machines.

This is making the Lift-A-Thon look exciting.

He is now ready to star on his basketball team. Or a basketball video game with that limp wristed throwing style.

now how did his elbow not hit him in the chin ? if gil was holding a m 80 would the kid stand next to where he was gonna throw it.

P4- “Okay boys, let’s hit the showers.”

Looks like a forced smile on Jami’s face. After his long exile he’s not too happy to see Gil paying more attention to someone else’s kid than to him. And speaking of paying attention, if you’ve been paying attention you know that it’s that time of day when you should be reading Mopped Up Thorp.
