Smug Leo did literally zero for the win. Hey Leo, how was your 60 minutes of fame as starting QB? I predict more picks coming in next week’s practices.

In Milford, OH the defense stepped up and helped the Eagles win a hard fought 19-12 victory over the winless visiting Loveland Tigers. Milford moves to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Valley (aka Eastern Cincinnati Conference). With the win last night, Milford moves to third in the Valley with the coveted second in the Valley in sight.
Why is Marty telling Austin he’s listening to WDIG? He’s not, he’s being broadcast on it as they talk. Actually, Austin isn’t even on WDIG, considering Marty is interviewing him with a recorder and has no microphone. And speaking of a microphone, you don’t need a microphone to spread the word that today’s Mopped Up Thorp is online.
Marty should have asked him why Milford was wearing their home whites for an away game. Although I guess that’s a question for a coach. Unfortunately, they all apparently split at halftime.

Lot of football games won by defense, or lost by offense.

P-1: I’ve never heard a male Varsity player in any sport call his father Daddy. Pop Warner, yes.

Milford wins. The other teams haven’t figured out to throw it at Torch yet.
