Gray is me, except male and slightly larger! This has potential.
Except for Saturday mornings , Ward never did take off his suit and tie, even at supper and ol’ June never , ever was seen without her pearl necklace.just an observation from the peanut gallery…

I think Ward was a government agent.
simpsonfan2: The TV cover story came from real life – he was a band leader. This accounted for his being at home so much – he worked nights. Maybe the film had him working with the ad agency on a jingle, or just a separate story line like daily and Sunday comics.
Ward Cleaver was an engineer…….aerospace I believe
