During the muscle car days of the 1960s – 1970s, people bought hot factory cars with steel rims (which automatically came with cheap hubcaps). They didn’t want to waste a lot of money on wheels that they were going to throw away during “Day 2” modifications.
Funny! I felt that way in the early 90s when after having given birth I couldn’t fit into my normal clothes and my oversized jeans were hanging on me. It turned out I fit right in.
