What about high school? To me, that feels like it lasts even longer.

Dean could be the people eating plant in Little Shop of Horrors.

What, no Disney?

She didn’t know it at the time, but Heart would eventually go on to have medical problems or other mishaps right before each of those plays, all throughout middle school. She eventually lost her grip on reality and fell into a delusion in which she thinks she’s always in a play. And that is how Heart of the City ends. Oh, uh, “spoiler alert”.

Heart, if you want to be in Cats, you’d better learn to dance.

Way back in the Mark Tatulli days, Heart did appear in “The Wizard of Oz” as the Wicked Witch. She even threw in an unexpected rendition of “My Way” as she melted.

Heart has been in middle school a long time.

God I hope they do little shop of horrors… how a middle school would do that I do’nt know but please make it happen steenz. Also I love the little nod of “Middle school is an enternity long”. I do think Steenz MIGHT age them up to 7th grade eventually, as would be neat, but they are never getting out of here.

I’ve been to numerous middle and high school plays and musicals. I have never been disappointed.

Dude. “You Can’t Take It With You”

“Guys and Dolls” would be a natural, as would “Annie” or “Into the Woods”.But, if Charlotte and her stage crew could pull off the special effects, “The Addams Family Musical”. I can just imagine Heart and Dana vying to play either Morticia or Wednesday.RIP, Lisa Loring.

I’m surprised a middle school in more-or-less urban Philadelphia can afford the rights fees to “name” musicals, especially recent ones
